Beautiful letter written by a father to his son...

Beautiful letter written by a father to his son...

Following is a letter to his son from a renowned HongKong TV broadcaster/ Child Psychologist. The words are actually applicable to all of us, young or old, children or parents.! This applies to daughters too. All parents can use this in their teachings to their children.

Dear son ,

I am writing this to you because of 3 reasons:

1. Life, fortune 'n mishaps are unpredictable; nobody knows how long he lives. Some words are better said early.

2. I am your father, 'n if I don't tell you these, no one else will.

3. What is written is my own personal bitter experiences that perhaps could save you a lot of unnecessary heartaches.

Remember the following as you go through life

1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has the responsibility of treating you well, except your mother 'n I. To those who are good to you, you have to treasure it 'n be thankful, 'n ALSO you have to be cautious, because, everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend.

2. No one is indispensable, nothing in the world that you must possess. Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most.

3. Life is short. When you waste your life today, tomorrow you would find that life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy life.

4. Love is but a transient feeling, 'n this feeling would fade with time 'n with one's mood. If your so called loved one leaves you, be patient, time will wash away your aches 'n sadness. Don't over exaggerate the beauty 'n sweetness of love, 'n don't over exaggerate the sadness of falling out of love.

5. A lot of successful people did not receive a good education, that does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gain is your weapon in life. One can go from rags to riches, but one has to start from some rags!

6. I do not expect you to financially support me when I am old, neither would I financially support your whole life. My responsibility as a supporter ends when you are grown up. After that, you decide whether you want to travel in a public transport or in your limousine, whether rich or poor.

7. You honour your words, but don't expect others to be so. You can be good to people, but don't expect people to be good to you. If you don't understand this, you would end up with unnecessary troubles.

8. I have bought lotteries for umpteen years, but I never strike any prize. That shows if you want to be rich, you have to work hard! There is no free lunch!

9. No matter how much time I have with you, let's treasure the time we have together. We do not know if we would meet again in our next life.

Your Dad

The Story Of Father and Son...

The Father and son

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son.
Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, "What is this?"
The Son replied "It is a crow".

After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, "What is this?"
The Son said "Father, I have just now told you "It's a crow".

After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?"
At this time some expression of irritation was felt in the Son's tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff.
"It's a crow, a crow"

A little after, the Father again asked his Son the 4th time, "What is this?"
This time the Son shouted at his Father,"Why do you keep asking me the same question again 'n again, although I have told you so many times 'IT
IS A CROW'. Are you not able to understand this?"

A little later the Father went to his room 'n came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born.
On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page.

When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-

"Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa,When a crow was sitting on the window My Son asked me 23 times what it was, 'n
I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again 'n again for 23 times.
I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child".

While the little child asked him 23 times "What is this", the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times 'n when
today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated 'n annoyed.

Lesson to learn from This Story:

If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble 'n kind to them. Be considerate to your parents.

From today say this aloud,

"I want to see my parents Happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.

They crossed all mountains 'n valleys without seeing the storm 'n heat to make me a person presentable in the society today".

Say a prayer to God, "I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good 'n kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.

A Story to Tell...

At this moment, there are over 6 billion people in this world. 'n at this moment, over 6 billion different stories are being written, 'n one of them is your own 'n unfortunately, in each one of these stories, there in a tragedy that is tucked away within it’s pages. A tear smearing the ink due to an indescribable sadness. 'n there are monsters of cruel intent that mocks 'n ridicules you into disparity 'n humility.

There will be times when we battling a war by ourselves because we get to self-absorbed into our own stories that we forget to look at others. All you have to do is open your eyes to the news, to status’, 'n to random posts on this very website to realize the problems every soul on this earth is facing.

So remember, we all have a story to tell, 'n yours is not the only one that’s being told. Sometimes our stories can intermingle with others…'n we can help each other out. Just remember, you’re never alone even when you feel like there is no one else is a part of the story that you are a part of. Chances are, other people are feeling the same way.

Tear Of Woman...

TEAR OF WOMAN
Why Women Cry... Watch her eyes

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him 'n said, "'n you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up 'n became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said: "When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth 'n the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, 'n take care of her family through sickness 'n fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any 'n all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults 'n fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths 'n her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
'n finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

A Reply From CEO of J.P. Morgan To A Pretty Girl Seeking A Rich Husband.. !

A young 'n pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:
Title: What Should I do to Marry A Rich Guy?
I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to say here. I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style 'n good taste.  I wish to marry a guy with $500k  annual salary or above.

You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York.

My requirement is not high.  Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary?  Are you all married?

I wanted to ask:  what should I do to marry rich persons like you?

Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income,'n it seems that this is my upper limit.

If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden(?),  $250k annual income is not enough.

I'm here humbly to ask a few questions:
1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names 'n addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)
2) Which age group should I target?
3) Why most wives of the riches are only average-looking?  I've met a few girls who don't  have looks 'n are not interesting,  but they are able  to marry rich guys.
4) How do you decide who can be your wife, 'n who can only be your girlfriend?  (my target now is to get married)

Ms. Pretty

A Philosophical reply from CEO of J.P. Morgan:

Dear Ms. Pretty,
I have read your post with great interest.  Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor.

My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope
everyone believes that I'm not wasting time here.

From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain.

Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" 'n "money" :  Person A provides beauty,'n Person B pays for it, fair 'n square.

However, there's a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year,  but you can't be prettier year after year.

Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, 'n you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worse 10 years later.

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a "trading position".
If the trade value dropped we will sell it 'n it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted.   It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or "leased".

Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool;  we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. 'n by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps.  If you are interested in "leasing" services, do contact me.

OLD STORY v/s INDIAN VERSION.. !

OLD STORY v/s INDIAN VERSION :P
{little bit lengthy, bt u gonna njoy dt}

An Old Story:

The Ant wrks hard in d withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.

Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

Indian Version:

The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The Grasshopper thinks the Ant's a fool and laughs & dances & plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering Grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the Ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

NDTV, BBC, CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering Grasshopper next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be that this poor Grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's house.

Medha Patkar goes on a fast along with other Grasshoppers demanding that Grasshoppers be relocated to warmer climates during winter .

Mayawati states this as `injustice' done on Minorities.

Amnesty International criticize the Indian Government for not upholding the fundamental rights of the Grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the Grasshopper (many promising Heaven and Everlasting Peace for prompt support as against the wrath of God for non-compliance) .

Opposition MPs stage a walkout. Left parties call for 'Bengal Bandh' in West Bengal and Kerala demanding a Judicial Enquiry.

CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing Ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among Ants and Grasshoppers.

Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the ' Prevention of Terrorism Against Grasshoppers Act' [POTAGA], with effect from the beginning of the winter.

Arjun Singh makes 'Special Reservation ' for Grasshoppers in Educational Institutions & in Government Services.

The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes,it's home is confiscated by the Government and handed over to the Grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV.

Arundhati Roy calls it ' A Triumph of Justice'.

Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice '.

CPM calls it the ' Revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden '

Govt invites the Grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly.

Many years later...

The Ant has since migrated to the US set up a multi-billion dollar company in Silicon Valley,

100s of Grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation somewhere in India,

..AND

As a result of loosing lot of hard working Ants and feeding the grasshoppers,

If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down, the resulting time delay could have been avoided and the rock would have fallen after the bus had passed ..!!! Think positive in life always and look for opportunities when u can help Others……

Always Try To Make Everyone Happy..!

Always Try To Make Everyone Happy With Whatever You have.. !
A 10 year old boy went to an Ice cream shop 'n asked how much a cone costs.
waiter said "Rs. 18"
then the boy started counting how much he had.
'n he asked how much does a small cone costs.
the Irritated waiter said "Rs. 15".
then the boy ordered for a small cone.
he ate, paid the bill 'n left.

when the waiter came to pick the plate he was surprised, the boy had left Rs.3 as tips for him!!!

"Always Try To Make Everyone Happy With Whatever You Have"

A baby asked God.. !

A baby asked God
A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small 'n helpless?"

"Your angel will be waiting for you 'n will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing 'n smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you 'n will also smile for you. 'n you will feel your angel's love 'n be very happy."

Again the child asked, "'n how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful 'n sweet words you will ever hear,'n with much patience 'n care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"'n what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together 'n will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking it's life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me 'n will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard 'n the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

"You will simply call her, 'Mom.'"
